Children's Outreach Project and its families also accept in-kind donations. Following is a list of items we frequently need and are happy to accept. We accept both new and gently used items. Accepted items are not limited to this list.

Family Needs

Disposable cameras
Children’s clothing (all sizes)
Professional adult clothing
Baby items such as strollers, cribs, etc.
Books
School Supplies for older siblings

Classroom Needs

Educational Toys
Multicultural Toys
Materials to teach diversity (items or information from different ethnic and religious backgrounds)
Classroom materials such as glue, play dough, crayons, markers, paint, etc.
Art supplies such as googly eyes, pipe cleaners, glitter, felt, popsicle sticks, sequins and anything else fun
Play food, pots and pans, serving ware and utensils for little kitchens
Puzzles
AA, C, D Size Batteries

Teacher Needs

Digital Camera
Photo paper to print digital photographs

Programming Needs

Books for children ages 2 ½ to 6 (new or used)
Bicycle helmets for young children
Preschooler clothing (new or used)
Playground equipment
Appliances (refrigerator, stove, etc.)
TVs, VCRs and DVD Players
Office supplies such as pens, highlighters, copy paper, postage, etc.

General Needs (these are BIG!)

Digital Camera with Software
Vacuum cleaners
School display items such as artificial trees, decorations
Oscillating fans (wall mounted are wonderful)
New rugs or carpet squares
Storage Bins with Lids
Latex paints (quantities over a gallon in any color)
Painting supplies such as brushes, roller covers, pans, masking tape, and drop cloths
Shelving systems or shelves with mounting brackets
Landscaping tools such as shovels, rakes, clippers, brooms, wheelbarrows, etc.
Tools such as screw drivers, hammers, pliers, channel locks, sockets, etc.
Miscellaneous nails, screws, mounting brackets

 

  It’s better to build children, than to repair adults.
